Named for a founding family in the area who at one point owned 80,000 acres. The Civil War Battle of Cloyd’s Mountain occurred nearby. The room has oversize Jeffersonian windows that open into the ceiling to allow access to the porch. Original brass foil cornices over the windows and ornate plaster crown work and medallions. A good place to gather around the piano or fireplace.
